Brighton based R&B singer/songwriter Maya Rain has just released her first single ‘O.Y.H (Hold Me)’ and we are already obsessed with the song!
Though this is her first single there is clear inspiration taken from various genres like Jazz, Hip&Hop grooves and obviously R&B! Her vocals captivate you and you are ascended into Maya’s world.
Speaking on the track Maya Rain says
“O.Y.H (Hold Me)’ is produced by one of my favourite current artists ’Steven Bamidele’ - we started the track last year & have worked on some more music which will also be released soon. The song is a smooth & dreamy ode to 90’s R&B, with a lot of jazz influence - It’s about the cycles relationships that have passed their cell by date go through & how physical touch can cloud your emotional judgement”
