Tora-i

We first noticed Tora months before she had put out any music. She came up on our explore page on Instagram and had this intriguing image on her Instagram page of herself in Chanel glasses with her cute curly afro and it was like she was destined to be adored by us (and everyone else who comes across her).

Fast forward to January 16, Tora uploads a video on Instagram and the caption simply reads:

And our wigs instantly flew off! She had delivered her music video on Instagram only, No Spotify, No Apple Music, Nothing! Just the Gram! So we had to head over to her page everytime we wanted to listen to the single (marketing genius or what!)

Ever since the release of her single, Tora has not disappointed us AT ALL! Everything she has released so far has been nothing short of amazing. Her artistry and delivery are literal works of art. Her single ‘vein’ was accompanied by breathtaking visuals where we saw her entangled with her braids hooked to the left, right and centre of the room she was in. She recently released her five single EP called ‘Cavalier’ which includes the singles ‘Pisonia Prologue’ and ‘Vein’. The simplicity in her videos and music is a reminder that the new generation of R&B, Neo- soul and everything else in between these genres, are definitely one for the history books. @ tordifrance your music, videos, delivery, simplicity and artistry is breathtaking and you are definitely ONE TO WATCH!
