What was the inspiration behind your recent release?

Beautiful Thing” was the first single from my current release “The Love /Soul Session Vol.My inspiration behind mylatest release is truly my husband and partner in this music game pushing me to stepoutside my boundaries and release songs we both had written and produced. “Love Is A1” EP. This song was written over 10 years ago and a God connection that with everythinggoing on in the world, it was time to release it! I am so glad we did!!

How would you describe your music journey so far?

It has been a learningexperience! I have had a lot of bought lessons too but, overall, I wouldn’t change it! I alwayslike to say, “Success is not a Destination; It’s a journey”!

Who is your biggest inspiration?

My Biggest Inspiration is God! Without him, I can donothing! My husband also is my inspiration. He plays a huge part also and he is my biggest fan!

What's your creative process and what gets you into a musical zone?

My creativeprocess is whenever a song comes to me, if it sticks, I got something so, I audio record themelody and write the lyrics to it. Writing and producing for myself and for other Artists,gets me into my musical zone.

What are your passions outside of music?

Teaching for sure!

What would you like to achieve before your next birthday?

I would like to achieve goals that will set me up for the future! It’s important to plan too for the future and not just live for today!

Where are you from and how does that affect your work?

I live in the North America Continent, and it has no boundaries on me getting my work done or doing my best work!

If you were a snack, what snack would you be?

A pizza with all the veggies I couldmuster up with a side of ground turkey, organic pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. I like to make my own pizzas! (smile).

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Take 6, Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett,Patrice Rushen and CeCe Winans! So many more to add to this list. It’s not enough space!

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Be yourself! You are Unique and you were made for specific a purpose!
