Kadeem Tyrell has quietly become one of the UK’s most consistent voices in the R&B space, and with KT.FM, he keeps doing what he does best — smooth vocals, honest lyrics and a sound that’s rooted in emotion rather than hype.
The EP feels like a late-night radio show just for you, which makes sense given the title. There’s a real sense of atmosphere across the tracks, with mellow production that leans into synths, warm basslines and subtle percussion. It’s cohesive without being repetitive and it doesn’t try to do too much — instead, it invites you to lean in.
Lyrically, KT.FM touches on love, self-reflection and vulnerability without overcomplicating things. Kadeem’s delivery is soft and understated, but there’s weight in what he’s saying. You believe him. There’s a confidence in his stillness that sets him apart from the overly polished or overly dramatic.
Some listeners might want a bit more variation sonically — the vibe is very much one lane — but if that’s your lane, you’ll likely find this project really satisfying. It’s R&B that feels grown, grounded and intentional.
KT.FM isn’t here to chase trends. It’s a mood piece, and a well-crafted one at that. Kadeem knows his voice, he knows his audience, and this EP serves them both with care. If you’re looking for something honest and easy to sit with, this is definitely worth your time.
